ACCREDITATION BODY: Thai Ministry of Education (TMC); NCBTMB (USA); AAMT (Australia)

This course builds a strong foundation of your knowledge of

ancient Thai massage positions, covering the entire body -total

158 positions and 19 level 2 positions- plus a full day of 2 hour

full body massage training. 

In general, it takes 10-15 days in normal learning to cover all positions; however it is possible at with the TMC teaching system of clear demonstrations to do it

in 8 full days.

You will follow Regi’s teaching and refer to the text manual with

221 pictures.

TMC curriculum, Foundation of Thai Massage level 1 covers the

whole body massage positions of head, neck, shoulders, face,

back on side lying, back massage face down, arms, abdominal,

legs, stretching and ending of the session. You will also learn

general knowledge about Thai massage regarding safe

practice, cautionary area and contraindication to massage.

You will be able to perform 1-3 hour massage successfully with

suitable planning. 

You will gain understanding of a safe massage, contraindications, anatomical landmark on the different parts of the body especially on the back while giving massage following the steps in the manual. Regi will explain and teach how to locate these anatomy landmark areas.

A short presentation of anatomy and physiology is shown in the

class for better understanding. You will also get a better

understanding and ability to massage with knowledge on

location of the lines and Sen Sib on the body.

The Level 2 workbook shows pictures from Level 1 for easy

reminding steps. The workbook includes Yogi Stretching

Exercise “Lue Sri Dadton” of 17 postures with ancient drawing.

Students will receive full training on the Yogi Exercise started

from Level 1 and continue until complete all 17 postures in

Level 2. This is a course in itself.

This course is for anyone who is serious about Thai massage

and want to enhance their skills on their friends and family or to

add as a professional skill as therapist.
